Has anyone used MyAccess before, an online writing program? Anyone got any tips on how to use it well? Any pitfalls I should know about in advance?

Yes, and we stopped using it when my 9 yr. old figured out that he could just copy and paste the word bank at the bottom of his draft and the system would give him top marks for great use of vocabulary. I would imagine that if your child used it the right way it would work. We also tried writebrain, which I liked better, but the fact is neither worked for us.

Ah, thanks for that! There's always some way of circumnavigating the program. I'll keep my eye out to ensure J doesn't work out how to circumnavigate the software too soon...
