My son is doing algebra although only in elementary school, and I've been thinking about how to motivate mathematical study for him. This site may be helpful.

I'm glad you posted this because my son currently wants to be a cashier; he says it is the only occupation where he sees people actively doing math!!!! Maybe if he sees it on a website, it will make more of an impact that my telling him that he'll be able to use his math for his other career goals of an astronaut and city planner. Thanks! smile Nan
