hey, recently some of you guys were discussing word processors for use by your dysgraphic kids. Can't find that thread...

I want to get one for my son to use, and also for me. thanks!

I didn't catch the thread, but I have been looking into this very question:

Here are some popular favorites:
http://www.neo-direct.com/intro.aspx
http://www.quickpad.com/
http://www.calcuscribe.com/

If you do up a spreadsheet for pros/cons, please publish it here, or a link to it here. I haven't tried any of the above, so that's as far as I go!

Love and More Love,
Grinity

Our sd supplies Neo's to kids who qualify. I don't know how good it is compared to other types, but the assistive tech at school told me they're very durable and easy to fix when they do get broken. They also run a long time on their batteries. My understanding is when the kids get to middle school, they may have to switch to a laptop because they run out of memory on the Neo.
