Need some recommendations on the next book to read. Losing Our Minds and Genius Denied were great for getting me over GT denial and having testing done etc. Now I am looking for a book that has more info about dealing with GT kiddo on a day to day basis, things to expect, dealing with emotions etc.

I usually turn to Hoagies for this info but their GT book list is over 50 books long with 20+ listed as recommended. I'm sure I will read most of those over time but for now time is limited so your help in picking the best couple is greatly appreciated. DS is 4, so looking for something that tackles GT life from the early days.

thanks,

guy

greatly appreciated. I was already leaning towards guiding the gifted child so that makes it easy.

I found a previous edition of this book at our local library early on in my GT journey. I got a lot out of it.

wowsers that book is $97 on sale. I will definitely have to grab that from the library, lol
I use swaptree alot with no complaints.
I have not been able to get gifted books because there is not alot of people trading them, but I can Janet Evanovich books with ease
Losing Our Minds, Genius Denied - Thanks for the suggestion. I really liked the anecdotes and the characteristics instead of just straight up test scores. I found that not only could I see my child in there but also myself. Now on to some of everyone's other suggestions!
I am so glad I found this site!
