I love when people share experiences, resources, etc. that help our children. Thought I would share my experience at a conference I am at called Learning & the Brain. Not geared towards gifted kids but it has been one of the most insightful conferences I have ever been to. The focus of this year's conference in San Francisco is on motivation, mindset and there is more of a focus on k-12 school children. Carol Dweck, Joshua Aaronson, and some amazing speakers presented on how you motivate children, what does growth mindset really mean, etc. I went in somewhat skeptical but I am already planning on coming back next year. They sell audio-visual recordings if you are interested.
