My biggest question from this is if it is detectable in the blood, does that tell us the cause and is there a way to counteract the effects? For instance a medication or some sort of supplement.

I'm looking forward to learning of more research on this.

It is super interesting, even if it doesn't get us any closer to a cause, actually. Because it can be a tough disorder to diagnose, just having a blood test that is sufficiently reliable would be a big boon.
