I got this from a friend today - I can't find a date so not sure if it's old news but thought I would share. Apparently the Dept of Justice is making it easier for kids with disabilities to access accommodations on standardized tests:

I wish the timing aspect of those tests would be removed altogether (for everyone). I remember being so stressed out about the time limits even though I was never diagnosed with a disability. In any event, DD and maybe DS as well are going to need accommodations so I'm glad to see this. DD in particular is ridiculously slow. They could probably give her triple time and it still wouldn't be enough.
