My daughter has some auditory processing deficits, enough where it may be impacting her articulation. (CAPD deficits can be common with apraxia).

We were recommended a listening therapy program. (the listening program) I have heard various things over the years in regards to listening therapy. Because of that, I was wondering if anybody has used these programs, if they made a difference, and if you have any recommendation in regards to such programs.
My dd11 went through an adapted version of "The Listening Program" when she was 5. My dd doesn't have CAPD but she had a very difficult time in situations with loud noises (and in situations where the noise wasn't really all THAT loud but it was overwhelming to her - for example, our tv set at normal volume that the rest of the family needed to have to hear it), and she also had difficulty hearing what her teacher said in the classroom when he was talking to the class because she heard background noise (kids moving around, papers shuffling etc) as being louder than the teacher's voice.

So - in a nutshell, the program worked great for dd.

I've gotta run - if you have any specific questions about our dd's experience, let me know!
