What roles are most likely to be replaced with technology and automation?

The current issue of Bloomberg BusinessWeek (June 26, 2017) has an interesting analysis of jobs/careers on pages 50-53. The online version with interactive charts is here.

Whether you are an adult in the changing workforce... a college student choosing a major... or a parent advising their student(s) on how to best prepare for future education and employment, the Bloomberg prognostication and analysis may be of interest.

Also of interest may be the US Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH).

The "Big Future" feature of the College Board also provides information about majors and careers.

That said, readers may wish to also keep in mind the difference between education and job training, summarized in this old post and also here.

Adding a link to http://giftedissues.davidsongifted....logy_may_replace_40_of_j.html#Post244643,
"Technology may replace 40% of jobs in 15 years,"
a thread which was started 1/11/2019.

The predicted 15 year time period would indicate the 40% job replacement being accomplish by the beginning of 2034...
or essentially completed at the end of 2033...
ten years and counting.
