I enjoyed this article and thought some of you might also - 4 lessons from the longest-running study on happiness. In an article dated April 12, 2017, TED author Daryl Chen highlights the results of a longitudinal Harvard Study of Adult Development, which spanned 78 years and is ongoing: a second-generation study is now underway. One point in the article discusses adjustment to aging and is highlighted in this post.
