Hi All,

Just got my youngest (ds5) test results for the NNAT2 he took before we moved out of state. He's had no other formal testing so I'd like to learn more about this test. The school that administered it just told me he scored 149 but I don't know where to find percentiles, etc. He was accepted into the GT school that administered this but then we moved. New school doesn't offer GT services until mid 3rd grade...

I know this isn't an "IQ score" but I'm intersted in finding out what it means. I know he's a bright kid and unfortuntely unmotivated. He's not looking forward to K this fall. I would like to have some info to share with our new school system. Although, I know the new school doesn't even want to think about GT until 3rd grade because "kids level out..."
As other posters have said on the NNAT, it's more of a spatial, non-verbal test, so it's harder to comment on verbal abilities, etc. from it alone.
Thanks. Yes, that is why I'm very curious about this test. He is more highly verbal than I would consider spatial, non verbal. I did find a percentile chart so I know where this score falls. I will have to get complete IQ testing for him.
