Hello!
Just got the results from DS (8yrs old) WIAT-III testing. Want to be sure I'm looking at the results correctly... There is Subtest Score Summary info, but no "total Reading", "total math", etc. (as noted in DYS requirements). Couple questions...
Reading Comprehension- Grade equiv. is >12.9, Standard Score is 145. So, is he 12th+ grade level in this area? Is the 145 an "IQ"-type of score/equivalent?
Also, how do I get a "total reading" number? Is there something missing from report? (Reading Comp is 145, Word Reading is 143, Pseudoword Decoding is 140).
Dr. is out for a couple days and I'm just a little impatient wink
Thank you!!

145 is a 'standard deviation' sort of score, like IQ test numbers are - each 15 points is one SD. So 145 means 3 SD more rare than average.

Does that help?

Yes, thank you Grinity!
Still not sure about how "total" scores are calculated. I see know I've got "page 1 of 3"...I'll need to check with Dr. if something went missing.

Many thanks again!
