Has anyone had experience using extended norms in Canada? I asked the psychologist and they didn't know what I was talking about so I sent them a link to the U.S. version. They then said they don't have them for Canada. I realize knowing the exact number isn't going to make a concrete difference in our lives but I'm now just really curious about the lack of them up north.

They do not have them for Canada. The recommendation is to use the US extended norms. In order to create extended norms, you need a reasonably-sized pool of HG children. That hasn't been quite as easy to accomplish in Canada, I gather. (Not meaning there aren't as many HG children, but probably due to access.) According to this FAQ from Pearson Canada, the WISC-V extended norms should be out late in 2016: http://www.pearsonassess.ca/content/dam/ani/clinicalassessments/ca/programs/pdfs/wisc-v-cdn-faqs.pdf
