Sho Yano this week will become the youngest student to get an M.D. from the U. of C.

Congratulations to him. Reading the story, its seems that the pace of his academic career was normal -- for him. Someone who wants an MD/PhD needs to accelerate if he is going to complete his studies before age 30, although Yano's case is exceptional.

Awesome that he and his sister could share the experiences and that they could help each other in making those choices. I love the quote: ""I never understood that," Yano said. "Why would being allowed to challenge yourself be considered more damaging than being totally bored?""
