((Humor alert)) Does anyone know where I can get an honorary degree in Gifted Education? I feel like I have completed all the research on gifted kids, OEs and all; and if I look at one more 2E issue I will go batty. I figure I have one more year tops before DS7 decides he knows more than me so I figure if I can get said degree in hand before then, I can pull it out and show 'proof' of my superior mom knowledge. So if anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be much obliged. whistle

haha! I tell my hubby all the time that I have an honorary degree from Google University when it comes to Gifted education!

Seriously, I think with all the research we parents do.... we DO know a lot more than we'd learn in school when you have real life experience teaching you as well and all the hours we spend looking things up.

Too funny. I certainy don't want to imply that I know more than those of you who have degrees in this area, I simply want a piece of paper for all my research. Just a paper to validate my 'expertise' to a certain younger crowd. hehehe

LOL, I agree....I could definitely get one of those too! The hours I have spent researching and reading is definitely comparable to my hours spent studying in grad school smirk
