We are working with my son on his throwing things and have been stressing that he can only throw balls.

Well,he found a huge bag of cotton balls and came to me asking what they were.

So, guess what I found all over the bedroom when I walked in:)

At least he is listening!

LOL - One has to ((gets to?)) stay on ones toes, yes?

He may not be too young to introduce the idea of "No Lawyering." Whenever I "make a deal" with DS10, especially when he was 8 and 9, I introduce the phrase "no lawyering" to cover myself. It really helped. Now at 10, he doesn't even try anymore.

There is also the beloved "pinky promise" - which he introduced to me, and has been a very important parenting tool. When he hooks pinkies with me, I know that his honor is at stake, and that's a good thing.

Big Smile,
Trinity
