My dd8 is entering 3rd grade and I just learned that they are switching the math curriculum from EM to Project M3 Mentoring Mathematical Minds. http://www.gifted.uconn.edu/projectm3/

I heard they are doing this because in 4th grade they'll switch AGAIN to Connected Math so this program is supposed to be a bridge for them.

Has anybody heard of this program? Have experience with it? Thoughts? Opinions? I already wasn't a huge fan of EM and from what I saw from the books in class that they'll use for Project M3 I'm really not sold. It relies heavily on reflection and writing, which is an area of weakness for dd. I fear her weakness in writing is going to hold her back in her math.

They will also use Ten Marks, which is something else we haven't used before. https://www.tenmarks.com/
Anybody familiar with this program?

I did manage to find this:

Never heard of it. I know our school district got rid of EM for this upcoming year.
In the same district as Nicoledad.. we are switching from EDM to gomath. The district has been in transition for the past year or 2.
