Gifted Issues Discussion homepage Forums Twice Exceptional Pervasive Developmental Disorder Support Needed

Despite the resistance from professionals to entertain the idea that my DS may have some form of a PDD I feel that he at least has some of the symptoms to some degree.

I am trying to find a PDD board similar to this gifted board, but everything I have found so far is not current or has very little activity.

Does anyone know of any good PDD boards?

There is a good one for Asperger's that has some folks who are dealing with PDD on it. And some gifted, too. The website has a lot of good diagnosis and treatment options listed on it.

This is one of the most supportive forums I've found that covers LD and developmental issues. It offers an active community that provides information on the law and disabilities as well as general support to parents navigating the ups and downs of parenting a child with learning disabilities.

What about the ASPERGER list on http://listserv.icors.org ?

I post at asdgestalt.com -- we have our quiet moments, but are fairly active overall. It's a forum about ASDs in general (not just Asperger's), psychology, and all the stuff in between. I would hazard to guess that some of the adults that post there are gifted themselves.
