My DS10 had a re-check on his visual perception/tracking problem and had improved significantly! He went from a 40% in one area to 65% and being comparable to an 8 year old in 1 area to a 9 year old. The doctor just gave me these quick results but I am very excited to see improvement! I can tell improvement as well in his handwriting and being able to copy information from books.

I'm very happy to see him struggling less although I know we still have a way to go. I will be very curious to see how this translates to his achievement testing scores this year. Hopefully it will help and maybe his GTness will be recognized by the school. But if not that will be ok, I'm still very excited that things are getting better for him. smile

Great! What do you think made the difference for him?

    Congrats!!!

When did you discovered that your DS10 had tracking problems and how long has he been on therapy? Are you seeing a behavioral optometrist?

Thanks! We just discovered his problems back in September and he's been doing computer therapy every day (or almost every day) and going once a week to the Dr.'s office since mid-October. I am sure that is what is making the difference. He's not all the way where he needs to be but I am so pleased with his progress. smile

Thank you Grinity! I am very excited about his progress. I doubt the program is commercially available. I bought it from the doctor and it only comes with so many "runs" and it interfaces with a server somewhere and the doctor can check my DS's progress from his office and leave him notes, etc. They seem to keep a tight control on it so I would doubt you could buy it anywhere than from a doctor. They want to charge as much as they can for it I'm sure! grin
