We finally bit the bullet and this June, we will finally be homeschooling our DS8. He will be having a math tutor online, MCT, piano and the rest...well, I am still trying to figure things out (how much time, how to schedule etc.). It's also really challenging since I work and am finishing school but my schedule is quite flexible for the most part and I will be home most mornings and my dh will be home when I am not home. We are also working with another homeschooling family (wonderful family) and they have 7 kids of varying ages.
I am scared, excited and looking forward to the ride.

Good luck! That is wonderful that your ds will have seven other kids from the other family to give him a social group right off the bat.

What online math tutor are you using, if you don't mind my asking? (pm if you'd rather and are willing to share.) I have been tutoring a dear friend's child in math this year b/c she is getting to the point with math where my friend doesn't feel able to teach it. I may not be available to do so next year as much as she would like/need, though, and I am trying to pass on other ideas for her as well.

Thanks smile. I'll put a link to his webpage on my webpage, too.
