Enrollment is open for old and new students. For new students you will also have the option of paying extra and beginning right away, or just signing up for next school year, which starts June 1st.

Current students just follow the prompt on your login screen. smile

Hopefully everyone has benefited with the program, more than 120 students registered for the 2009-2010 school year under the group.

(New students need to request enrollment information for the group by submitting the parent name, student last name if different, zip code, and email address by PM. They will then be emailed the group information.)

    Excellent news, Melissa:

Please jog our memory here... what is the range of classes available through your Open Enrollment group?

The main program is Math K-Prealgebra and LAW 2-6 and are available as part of the $135. For an additional $50 each you may opt to add Introduction to Algebra and/or RAW (they aren't available seperately).

    Melissa,

We would like to send our information to request enrollment information. Would you happen to know how we should contact them?

    Thanks,

If you are looking to sign up a student under our group you PM me. If you would like to start your own group then you send in the interest form to seek approval. It can be found here http://epgy.stanford.edu/district/info.html

I know I asked you a ton of questions before...but my DS's school is still deciding what to do for next year. So...if I purchase the program for him can he use it at school?

nevermind, I remember you saying before that you don't think it matters who purchases the program....so I would imagine either way he could use it at school. Thanks!

    Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am getting the messages everyone is sending. I have been inundated with requests after being off the board for the weekend (gasp). I will try to address everyone's needs tonight after I get the kids in bed. smile

I will also be adding some other tidbits that are coming in from our latest update from EPGY. EPGY has been working to update some things with the running of the programs themselves, and I know many have had some trouble off and on lately.

It is a really busy time right now with the upcoming school year approaching so volume is really high right now, (I have a whole page of emails in my inbox related to EPGY) please be patient with me. If your request is for the remainder of the school year, please put that in your post/email so I can give it priority.

I thought I would add that for now there is no access to the OE program outside of the US and Canada. I've had quite a few people from other countries inquire lately. I know the director of the program is working to change that in the future.

    Hi everyone,

I would like to apologize, I am behind. I was already behind, we just added 65 students the first week of the month. I was just without power for 18+ hours and lost two freezers, so I am working on clean-up today. I will try to get caught up on the yahoo group and on general questions first this weekend and then will address additional enrollments. I am also working on some other changes to try and streamline things for everyone.

    Melissa,
Thanks very much for your efforts. I joined a different EPGY OE group, but it was your posts that made me aware it existed.

Do OE group leaders get paid anything?

No we don't get paid anything, and we pay for the course for our children like everyone else. smile It is strictly volunteer.
