Hold the pencil near the point end with thumb and pointer. swing it back and forth like a pendulum. Then swing it up and over - add the middle finger for support and volia! crisc Member Joined: Dec 2007 Posts: 485 New England	Thanks. We hadn't tried that trick. We received our starter pack in the mail yesterday! Quick shipping. DS7 was so excited. He tried each of the different grippers and pencils. I noticed an immediate improvement in his handwriting with these tools since they really force him to hold the pencil correctly. So far he likes the Twist and Write the best. He was so excited to bring it to school today. He was even excited about the crayons and he HATES to color. Thanks again for the link. I love the triangle crayons for all my DC, even crayola has them now. Found it, http://www.pathwaysforlearning.com/Products_-_Grotto_Grip.html is what they are. How great to give our kids tools when they are young enough to really enjoy them and before they absorb all of society's attitudes about 'differentophobia.' I have chills!
