Sure, but the assumption by others that we're hothousing--because how else could they know/do those things?--is what annoys me and makes me second-guess myself sometimes. I'm getting better about not taking this to heart or get cranky about it, but it's still a struggle to have the courage of my convictions when someone assumes hothousing.
Just today, my well-meaning dental hygenist, who saw what my son was working on for home school while I was getting my teeth cleaned, asked "So did you teach him that?"
Well, yes, I guess. But not the way you mean! I was pretty much along for the ride!
