I have been trying to figure out what sort of doctor to see w/my ds8 who may or may not be 2E.
We have seen our regular pediatrician, been to a developmental pediatrician, and also talked on the phone with clinical and neuropsycholgists. I found this article from Dr. Beljans, in AZ., about pediatric neuropsychology.
It is helpful in understanding the difference in types of doctors and assessments.

Also, this site has some ped. neuropsychologists however I have not seen any who state on their bio that they work with gifted/ld children, so I am still looking, may call a few to find out more.
    Nice map.

Maybe these have been posted before, but I have not come across them...
