    I'd like to hire a psychologist to assess my bright 4-year old daughter. We live near Washington DC. Can anyone recommend a psychologist with experience in this area?

    No personal experience in that neck of the woods. But have you looked into Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth? They have an assessment and counseling center there.
