I am still relatively new to this forum and already you have all helped me so much! So to all of you, I wanted to say thank you!! I feel like I ask so many questions (and you all give great input), but I don't really have a lot of input to give for your questions. So this is a one sided relationship and I just wanted to say thanks for putting up with me!

Please don't reply to this...just read it and feel appreciated! smile

    Awwww! grin

BTDT, and after I've been around a while, now I can't stop giving opinions and advice.

Stick around. Your daughter is young. One of these days, before you know it, you'll be an old hand, and you'll have lots of help to give.

(See, I can't resist responding even when I'm told not to! wink )

    Onesie,
There is noting one-sided about it. You just happen to be 'paying us back' by getting in there and fighting for your kid. If you happen to have support to add or something from your childhood or your observations over the years, that great, but the main thing is that you are using us to help your kid.

For all I know, when I finally meet the parents of my son's future fiancee, they will say, things weren't going so well until I started posting on Gifted Issues and that really helped make her the calm, loving and self-assured young woman she is today.

    You never know, right?

In other worlds, I'm taking the LONG view here!
    Smiles,
    Grinity
