DS5 has been trying to go to K since turning five. It is in the same school as his preschool and next to his older brother's 3-8 classroom. Well he talked the teachers into the idea and started half day K last week. He did great apparently. DS8 checked in on him and said he seemed to know what he was doing. It's a K-2 classroom so he'll be there a while. smile

He's very pleased with himself. He is my teacher pleasing hard worker so I think he'll do very well. He's also the competitive one so he already sizing himself up against the K-2 kids. It'll be interesting to see what grade level he actually works in by the end of the year.

Just an update on DS5 -

His K teacher says he is doing great. He is a good listener and concentrates on his work. She said they're just going to let him set the pace and provide new material as necessary. smile
