We just got back from the meeting. It was a total waste. She said we will have to submit an official appeal she just wanted to go through everything with us again and make sure we understood everything that determines acceptance before doing it. I think they were just trying to get us to back down, but I told her that we intend to appeal it. Very disappointing. I do have them looking into her Inview scores for the Terra Nova because I don't feel like her CSI is as high as it should be based on what others I know have scored. I think I will ask for help on the testing forum to see if anyone can help lead me to some resources. Thanks for the support. We plan to appeal it and keep pushing. smile

Keep at it. You should absolutely appeal. It's ridiculous if they can't look beyond 5 points on the STAR to see that she has had higher scores in the past. The STAR is a reasonable snapshot and easy to give, but no way should 1 STAR assessment ever be considered a valid enough assessment to exclude a child from a program.

    Thank you smile

I am submitting our appeal letters today and will update when I know more.

    Was your appeal successful?
