The claims in The Bell Curve haven't held up very well under peer review, which probably explains why it was a book, and not a paper in a peer-reviewed journal.

Plus, their "high IQ" group was >125, which tells you nothing about the HG or higher, since the group would be dominated by the "optimally gifted" cohort in the 125-135 range. And for the same reason, it also tells you nothing about 2e.

Prison is where people who need mental health treatment end up when you don't have an adequate mental health system.

So, the equation reads:

"Mental issue" (meaning the second e of 2e, and/or history of abuse) + "Poor coping skills"" + "No money" = Prison.
