Off the top of my head, MA has the best frameworks overall (and the best international test scores).

Is that what you follow, Zen Scanner? WM is a great school and, while I'm new at this, the prices seem reasonable. I'd love a review.

My DS8's school uses Williams and Mary for language arts, and it seems to work well and keep him engaged at different levels. But our plan B homeschooling if school drops the ball would be more like unschooling.

This is good to know! We don't homeschool, but I have wanted to compare our state standards to the best in the nation to see how it compares.

Thanks, Portia! I keep fluctuating between being so excited to teach/learn with him and being nervous about HOW I will keep up him!

As far as curriculums "for" gifted students, when I was student teaching in a gifted class we used some of the WM language arts curriculum materials, and also some Michael Clay Thompson materials. For other subjects, we used the regular district curriculum but at higher levels.
