OP Mommy2myEm Member Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 304	DD9 will have WISVC-IV this coming Friday. I spoke with the tester and got a really good vibe. He tests a good amount of gifted kids and told me how some kids can get bored during the test if it isn't accelerated at times. We got a morning time which is good for DD and as long as she is healthy, we should get a good idea of her abilities. We get a written report in 7-10 days but I hope I will get some idea that day how it went. We need a 128 for the gifted class but higher than that for 2 year math/LA acceleration. 128 will get us 1 year acceleration.Wish us luck!!!

From the initial responses from the tester DD did very well on every section except the processing speed. She was given an additional task and her score improved, but I was told there is still a discrepancy. Not sure how much that will impact her score, but I should know soon.
