Empathy seems par for the course, yesterday our DS5 didn't want to say something to me about the way I was dressed because he didn't want to hurt my feelings. I know I can be sensitive, but LOL.

incogneato Member Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 2,231 up in my head.......	Agreed. We also saw significant empathy from the girls at a very young age. It did stick out because we weren't seeing the same behavior from most 2 and 3yo. Hope your son enjoys the testing process.

kimck Member K Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 1,134	Both DS7 and DD4 show similar empathy Lately DD4 is very worried about her brother and making sure he gets his fair share. My son s very sensitive to both mine and his sister's feelings.DS regularly takes on the adult role in a group of kids that decide to misbehave. One day this spring when I was volunteering I witnessed him "save" a girl from a boy who had stolen her stuffed animal. DS's favorite kids in kindergarten were all ELL students. Good luck with the meeting JB! Keep us posted.
