New to advocacy. I'm just wondering how long it is reasonable to wait to hear back from my child's teacher. She told me that she would get back to me about a testing issue on tues and still hasn't gotten back to me. It's fairly important and am wondering how long until i should politely remind her that i need a response. Thanks!

If you don't get a response tomorrow I'd send her a follow-up email. I typically get a response back within 48hrs. This time of year tends to be really busy with testing, but responding to parents is still an important part of their job.

She said Tuesday, you gave her all day Wednesday extra, and now it's Thursday. I'd say a polite reminder at this time is justified.
