Are there any achievement tests available (for home administration if possible) that are flexible on time limit for a child with documented processing speed issues?

The SAT-10 gives suggested times for each section, but the student can take as long as s/he needs (http://www.pearsonassessments.com/N...medTestingConditionsQandA_Rev3_Final.pdf)

It is something you can administer at home but only if you are a homeschooler and to give it yourself you need both a BA and some course work in testing/assessment or I believe that the homeschool places that market it to that group have some sort of training you can do through them if you don't have testing/assessment course work.

There is also the PASS test from Hewitt Homeschooling. It doesn't require proof of bachelor's degree or homeschooling.

Hi, thanks, I will check out the PASS test also; just read the stanford test as of june 2012 is harder to admin to your own relatives; you need to have some additional kids in the group (2 kids, but still some other kids not related to you).

Stanford 10 sounds really good on a lot of levels, however, so I might circle back to that one.

Turns out the stanford 10 is the best option, as PASS is not nationally normed. I stuck with the CAT for this year however as I was running out of time. Definitely going to try for stanford 10 for ds next year, however. thanks again!
