can't you just get a critter and have at it?

    :P

seriously, dissecting squid is popular at that age. can you get a squid from the fish market and find a lesson plan? DS dissected squid at seacamp last year and will again friday night at a Harry Potter event at the kids science museum. Part of the "Care of Magical Creatures" class.

Man, those classes sound AWESOME! I hate where we live b/c there is NOTHING. I mean NOTHING.

We don't have a gun... and we can't find his slingshot - and even if we could, not sure that we'd hit one.

I am sure we might have a squid.

    thx!

LOL. Unfortunately, we live in a small mountain resort town... not a whole lot at our finger tips - thinking "we" as in my town, might have a squid... funny.

I put it out on facebook to see what I'd gather - roadkill, fish from the market and best of all from my doc friend - a website!

Once researched, will post if it's worthy!!
