Okay, now that I have found Aleks for math acceleration/remediation for my 2e DS9, I am looking for an online language arts program. Any ideas?

Take a look @ some of the online programs at the top of this page. Athena's Advanced Academy and Guinevere's Gifted Group are probably the ones about which I've heard the most positive things.

Guinevere's Gifted Group or OnlineG3.com is a prefered resource for a number of kids we know. The headmistress (Guinevere is not her real name) is willing to work with you if you have special concerns for your child.

Has anyone done the Athena history intro courses? My DD7 wants to learn more history but is very content sensitive and not ready for descriptions of torture or genocide or plague. She loses enough sleep as it is due to things she overhears adults say to each other.
