I'm sure this has been a topic before. I'll try a search as well but figured it wouldn't hurt to start a new thread. Could all you experienced parents help me with some resources for a fellow homeschooler with an 11 y/o with suspected dyslexia? The child is not identified as 2E but was assessed by a speech therapist about a year ago, diagnosed with a language and auditory processing disorder. The SLP said she wasn't qualified to diagnose dyslexia but that's what she thought he looked like.

The parents have been unable to implement the recommendations from the speech eval due to losing insurance and having limited finances. The SLP had recommended speech therapy, Wilson reading program and Fast ForWord.

Any advice, recommendations or suggestions for this homeschooling parent? We're in IL. Thanks in advance!
