We bought this for our ds7, and he just loves it. It has really helped him understand what it means to be gifted, and it has lots of input/quotes from other gifted children. I find ds in his room reading it alone on a regular basis. There is a "quiz" at the end of the book that allows you to determine your areas of strength. I wouldn't say it's dead-on, but it's fairly accurate, and provides some food for thought and discussion. He refers to this book quite often.
