He also gets along with the kids in Scouts, sports and camp. Personally, as far as school goes, that seems like enough to me.
The Iowa Acceleration scale definitely takes this sort of information into account (if the child is in extracurricular activities they get "points" toward acceleration), but it weights test scores more heavily. You might find it a useful tool for demonstrating your child's readiness to the school.
