I too am in FL. My experience and that of friends I know in our district at least is that if all those people are going to be at the meeting, your child qualified for the program. If your child does qualify for the gifted program, they would go over what services are available, when they would start for your child, how often and how the services are provided and when you will meet again to review the plan.
Our schools in our district are really cut and dry as far as being admitted to the gifted program. They only look at test scores so unless you have outside test scores I probably wouldn't bring anything to the initial meeting, but rather see what they offer and get the results of the testing.
