The head of Lower School at The Haverford school has experience with gifted kids, including the profoundly gifted. That will impact how she approaches gifted kids there, I’d imagine. I had the same opinion on Grayson, I wish it had a longer track record.

My impression of the general private school environment is that they all stress differentiation but I think it’s going to depend on how far from the class average your kid is.

A bit outside of Philly there’s some Montessori schools that go to 5th. So that’s an alternative.

Depending on age, Masterman is supposed to be rigorous. I’m not sure about the other middle and high schools.
