I want to say it all, but it would be too much personal information, but I need somewhere to say how proud I am of my DD14 who earned straight As as a Freshman at a top honors/gifted high school, taking 2 AP classes, that I had to persist in advocacy for her to take. All while playing Varsity basketball and performing in one little theater and one metro-wide production throughout the semester. She is also the happiest she has ever been. Don't let anyone slow your kid down when you know what they are capable of doing and it's what they want to do themselves.
