I am honestly not certain, but if you are counting on the WISC score to get him in - I would want it to be clear. Can you submit the calculated GAI as a supplement?
Did you submit portfolio items that strengthen the whole application? I know its not necessary, but perhaps that clearly puts your DS over?
Honestly, we used scores (I have two DYS) and the documents themselves provided scores that were above their designated minimum. I think a supplemental document providing the GAI will strengthen your application. Best of luck!
