I walked in on DS5 giving DS2 a puzzle making test a little while ago. It was so cute! He was giving his younger brother various wooden puzzles and watching closely as he completed them. He was counting how many tries it would take him to complete the puzzle. He had pen and a paper and was making tally marks each time DS2 got a piece in the correct spot.

The results:
Shape Puzzle: Took 9 tries for 9 pieces
Number Puzzle: Took 11 tries for 9 pieces.
Alphabet puzzle: Took 38 tries for 26 pieces.

Total tries was 58 for 44 pieces. DS5 then went on to write the number as a fraction and then (with my help) expressed as a percentile.

Either he is a future psychologist or he's just had too many of his own evaluations smile
