We are starting part-time homeschooling for DS10 for math in two weeks. We plan to use the Singapore Math curriculum. I'm not sure whether to use the Common Core curriculum or the U.S. edition. Does anyone have any recommendations based on research or experience with the new Common Core version of Singapore math?
DS10 is in 4th grade and will remain in public school through middle school at least. We hope he will be able to take math in school again once he hits middle school and advanced math options are available, so I'm inclined to go with the Common Core version. It doesn't have a home instruction manual available yet, only a teacher manual; I'm not sure if that will make the home instruction more difficult?
