I asked the school system to administer an IQ test to my son, 7 year old second grader.

I received an email from the AP today saying that they will be giving him the InView (IQ) Test tomorrow in a third grade classroom with several other regular education students. The test will then be sent off to be scored.

Can anyone give me an idea as to if this is an accurate IQ test?

I assumed that the IQ Test would be given to him one to one and now I worry if him going to a third grade classroom might be a distraction for him and not make the test as reliable...and wondering if an IQ Test for 3rd grader is the same one they typically give to a 2nd grader?

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

Thank you!
