Hi! I'm hoping someone here can help me. I have a 4 year old who has a big gap on some test scores. She was tested using DAS-2 at 4y1m, her GCA was 117, however her scores were highest for the first parts of the test (nonverbal reasoning) and then started declining, until the last part (spatial composite) when I could tell she was bored with it. I was allowed to sit in on the test and I know she was giving wrong answers for things she knows.
The next day she had her pre-k assessment using dial-4. I warned them that she had been tested the day before, she does not like to repeat things and she may be uncooperative. She scored at 21%, only 4 points above being learning disabled! When I questioned the teacher she pointed out several times when my daughter meowed as an answer, and they scored her on it! I'm worried about pre-k since she already knows the material and gets bored easily but I can't get anyone to listen. Are there other options I should pursue or am I going overboard already?
