I didn't really know where to put this post so I hope it works here.
My son and I have some 2nd grade FOSS science kits to go through this summer since he will be skipping 2nd and going into 3rd. The one part of the kit is on insects and after looking at the FOSS supplier for living specimens I've decided that it is just too costly and most are class sets. Are there any other homeschoolers on this board who use different suppliers that you can just get a few insects and not whole class sets? I'm going to try some bait shops for the worms...any other ideas would be great.
