Thanks for posting this. I hadn't heard of this resource previously, and it's by Johns Hopkins. There are many categories of information available. Similar to what I find other places, some of this research has been around awhile. Just for fun I looked up acceleration. There were many results, including use of technology for accelerated learners.
Among the literature I did not find mention of the Iowa Acceleration Scale, nor mention of grade skipping, possibly because this is more of a gen ed resource.
Because posters on this forum often ask about acceleration, I thought I would share a link about an upcoming webinar on that topic (also planned to be available on DVD, for any reading this thread after the webinar has taken place). Use of the Iowa Acceleration Scale is often considered "best practice" when considering a full grade skip:
