What do you think about using Zaccaro's Challenge Math as the TEXT (as opposed to an enriching supplement) for homeschool math? My 7 year-olds LOVE solving the problems. I think they find it far less tedious than solving computational problems, like those found in Singapore. I was concerned how they would handle problems related to concepts they had never studied, such as percents, but was amazed to discover that they seemed to quickly understand the material and then demonstrate their understanding by solving all the problems.

Has anyone used a text of problem-solving, such as Zaccaros, as the vehicle for first learning mathematical concepts? Thoughts? Other similar books to consider?

Thanks
